Is Bazaar-NG the revision control system we have been waiting for?

At a first glance Bazaar-NG seems to be a good match for a winner in the revision control system space. Subversion is a good product, but it’s basically just CVS on steroids. It solves some of the more obvious and annoying problems with CVS but it doesn’t take on the major things, like distribution and disconnected operation.

I tried out monotone earlier and though the ideas and theory are sound it was a bit cumbersome to use. Looking at the WhoUsesBzr page it seems to have picked up quite a following so maybe it’s worth giving it a try. At least according to the documentation it should be a piece of cake to deploy and use.
