I was a huge fan of virtual desktops I few years back when I used linux on my desktop. With no built-in support as I switched to OS X I had to adjust to life without multiple desktops.
When Apple introduced Spaces I thought I would go back to using a few different screen setups, but it didn’t really work out. I think it was a combination of me being used to having everything on one screen and the space switching that happened on Command-Tab. But Gilbert Guttmann’s article linked above inspired me so maybe I should give Spaces another try.
