The new kitchen floor

We got the new kitchen floor today! I had to sneak away early from work so that we could go to the store, borrow a trailer, drive home and carry the 21 m^2 of wood inside and return with the trailer before the store closed.

But we made it and now the new floor is lying in the kitchen adjusting to the indoor climate and temperature for a few days. Thursday evening me and dad will hopefully get started with putting it in place.

I can’t wait to see what the room will look like when we’re done!

After that there’s just the small business of assembling all the stuff that should go into the kitchen, but that feels like a small task compared to what we’ve done so far!

Finally feeling OK

Sunday, December 14th, 2008

I’ve had a long lasting flu for the previous two weeks, but yesterday and today I have finally started to feel like I have some energy in my body again. I guess this is what I get for just staying home from work for one day when I started to feel ill. If I would have stayed home for a few more days it probably wouldn’t have got this bad.

But oh well, shit happens :)

In the kitchen a lot has happened, one wall has got painted once and we’ve done the ground work so that we can put the new floor in place next weekend. We might finally have a working kitchen again some time early next year!

Minimalistic iPhone applications

You want to get it right because getting it right can make everything easier thereafter. But really, it’s because getting it wrong can be devastating. You might wind up putting thousands of man hours of work into a project that was doomed by a decision that was made in a second at the inception.

Amazon tar molnet till Europa – IDG.se.

Jag har funderat på att köra en VPS i Amazons moln men det är svårt att hitta information på Google om folk är nöjda med en sådan setup eller inte.

Har du erfarenhet om detta så kommentera gärna.
