Hard at work

I’m sorry if it’s been a bit quiet on the blog recently, we’ve been hard at work with our kitchen renovation.

Below you can see what it looked like the previous time I mentioned it.

Now we’ve come as far as this.

There is still plenty of stuff left to do though, but the most important thing is that we actually have a working kitchen with running water. This weekend we’ll hopefully get the handles in place on all the doors and drawers. It’s pretty hard to open them right now. We’ll also try to get the grey mosaic in place over the countertop and on the wall, i.e. the grey areas in the photos above.
