Hjälm eller snygg frisyr?
Inte hjälm i alla fall. Jag det bara ibland, hade jag åkt snabbt hade jag haft jämt. Nu kör jag med pannband. Jag vill snyggåka.

Today I’ve made the decision to take two weeks off climbing to see if the pain in my right ring finger gets any better. With spring on the way I don’t want to do anything stupid and ruin the outdoor season.
I’ve been googing around a bit but I can’t really figure out what’s wrong with the finger. Dan’s “Need help with finger injury” question fits quite well, but unfortunately he doesn’t get any good answers.
The finger doesn’t hurt when I use crimpers nor on big open handed grips. However, big handle bar shaped jugs that puts the pressure in exactly the wrong spot of the finger hurts a lot.
This weekend I taped the middle part of the middle finger and it seemed to help as there was less pain and discomfort while climbing. But since that session I’ve had this odd uncomfortable feeling around the first joint and A4 pulley on the middle finger and that has naturally made me a bit worried.
So I’ve decided to skip this week’s sessions and next week we’re going skiing so no climbing then either. This together with anti-inflammatory oil on the finger three times a day should hopefully do the trick!
Vi såg filmatiseringen av Stieg Larssons Män som hatar kvinnor bok i fredags och jag är faktiskt imponerad. Det är ovanligt att svenska filmer lämnar någon slags bestående avtryck men i detta fall har dom gjort ett riktigt bra jobb med att överföra bokens spänning och obehag till film utan att behöva påverka handlingen på ett negativt sätt.

With spring on its way we got a bit surprised when it started snowing Saturday morning. Ismo took the opportunity to sit and look out the window for a while.
I wonder what he is thinking about. Did he see a bird in the tree? Or is he just admiring the beautiful snowfall? Would he like to be outside or is he perfectly fine indoors with the radiator beneath him sending lots of warm air his way?

We’re actually going to set up a small vegetable garden in the backyard this spring. Just waiting for the snow to melt.
Unfortunately the winners have to sign a non-disclosure agreement so it will take a while until we get to know the details. Which is annoying as I got very curious about how they pulled this off.
