I tisdagskväll så besökte Anna Ternheim Uppsala och Katalin för en extra konsert då hennes tidigare besök blev utsålt. Denna gång blev det också utsålt, men skillnaden var att vi hann få tag i biljetter.
Jag tycker att det var en bra spelning och Anna visar på betydande mer scennärvaro och självförtroende än tidigare. Hon har kommit en lång väg sen jag såg henne som förband till Lars Winnerbäck i Stockholm där hon satt och gömde ansiktet i en huvtröja på scenen.
Denna spelning överglänser Annas förra besök på Katalin i November 2006. Förhoppningsvis fortsätter trenden i framtiden.
Spotify scrobbles
Saturday, January 3rd, 2009Almost immediately after launch we started getting heaps of requests from people who wanted to be able to scrobble the music they were playing on Spotify to Last.fm (Last.fm is a cool music recommendation site for those of you who don’t know). The demand was so high that people started creating their own solutions to scrobble, which were cool but a little hard to install and run for the average user.
So today we are really excited to announce that we’ve added scobbling support directly into Spotify, no more need to install any other software.
Spotify launches

I got my Spotify beta invite two weeks ago and I fell in love with it immediately. It’s marvelous to have all the music you can think of just a click away.
Today they launched for real! So congratulations are in order. Unfortunately that means the ad-free beta period is at end so I guess I’ll end up with the Premium monthly subscription.

Jag hörde när dom soundcheckade på vägen hem från tåget och det lät grymt! Det kommer säkert att bli en makalöst bra konsert. Tyvärr ska jag inte dit :(

Dr Alban och Haddaway gör duett
Saturday, May 17th, 2008Dr Alban och tyska Haddaway ska släppa en singel. De möttes på onsdagen för att spela in “Something good is on it’s way”, uppger Falukurirens nätupplaga. Dr Albans senaste skiva hette “Back to basics” och kom i fjol. Haddaway är mest känd för sin jättehit “What is love” från 1993. Hur nya singeln låter, och när den kommer, är ännu oklart. (TT Spektra)

Tom McRae and the Hotel Cafe Tour 2008
Friday, May 9th, 2008Earlier I wrote that I was going to see Tom McRae and the Hotel Cafe Tour 2008 play in Södra Teatern in Stockholm.
The gig was brilliant! One of the best concerts I have ever been too!
Tom McRae and his friends took turns on the stage playing a couple of songs each, in the end after almost three hours they had played four songs each except for Tom who got to both start the concert, finish it and play in the middle.
They were all good, Jim Bianco was quite funny, Cary Brothers sounded like he does on the TV series, Greg Laswell was limping around on stage, Catherine Feeny was the beauty and light of the set and Brian Wright was the energetic rocker
Tom playing the classic End Of The World News was my personal highlight of the evening. I used my mobile phone to record it and you can watch it below. Enjoy!
