Every now and then we feel it is time to try something new for dinner. The other night we did Rogan Josh which turned out quite good. It was maybe a bit weak but I’m sure it will get better with practice.
A few days ago I used Camilla’s unused claypot to cook a steak of roe deer. The result was amazingly juciy and very tasty.
We should really make more use of the claypot! Next I’m going to try to make chicken in it…
Above you can see the steak before it was put in the oven for 2 hours.
We spent the whole day out climbing in the early vinter/spring sun. Back home we made this excellent Indian curry with own made naan bread, a good sallad and brilliant South African shiraz wine.
Quite a nice Saturday :)
