This weekend we’re moving into the house we’ve been renovating the last few months. The living room and the bedroom are ready. The old kitchen is gone but we haven’t even started on the new kitchen yet. We did setup a temporary kitchen so we’ll still be able to cook some food for the time being.

Moving means putting all your stuff in boxes, so that is pretty much all we have been doing the past week. I think we are on track for Saturday but there’s still plenty to do tonight and tomorrow evening…

If you think it’s been a bit silent here on the blog you know what I’ve been busy doing.

Exhausting weekend

Thursday and Friday of last week I spent at home with a killer headache and a roller-coaster fever. Luckily I felt better when I woke up on Saturday morning as we were going to a wedding party in Stockholm.

The party was fun even though we hardly knew anyone, but because I had been ill the last few days and we had things planned for Sunday we took the last bus to Uppsala (23:30). It’s a real shame there’s such a lack of public transportation between Stockholm and Uppsala during nighttime.

Yesterday we demolished the kitchen in the house. It was lots of hard but fun work and today my body hurts!

Now a bit of “rest” at work before returning this afternoon to continue with the kitchen.
