It’s Showtime

From iLounge we can read that Apple to hold ‘Showtime’ event on September 12th

Apple today confirmed that it will hold a special event on Tuesday, September 12th at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco, California. An invitation sent to select media, including iLounge, features Hollywood premiere-style spotlights and reads simply, “It’s Showtime.” The event will kick off at 10:00 a.m. PT.

Of course there’s going to be movies sold from iTunes Music Store, that’s obvious! But is it still going to be calld iTunes Music Store? Or will they drop the Music part and just go with iTunes Store? Or change the name completely?

What I really want to see is an Airport Express for Video with at least S-Video and digial audio outputs, so that I could get rid of my cumbersome xbox setup. Naturally I want it to be controllable from my linux fileserver too, somehow.

Next week we’ll know what new toys Steve brings us!
