Exclusivity sells

I finally got around to watching a documentary on Swedish Television I’ve meant to see for a while yesterday.

Dom utvalda (review in DN) covers the birth and growth of aSmallWorld which is Erik Wachtmeister’s private community exclusive for the jet set people of the world. DN wrote about it at the end of 2004 back then it had
just started.

The documentary follows aSmallWorld from the start to now (spring 2007), and even though it doesn’t really give an in-depth view of what it’s like to run a startup business it does give a glimpse into Eric’s life as aSmallWorld grows to have 158 000 members. Something which I found quite interesting to watch.
