Not that unexpected that you have strict memory restrictions and that you have to rethink you app’s user interface. If you’re working on an iPhone version of a desktop application take this opportunity to also improve the user interface of the desktop application. When you have identified the important interaction elements for your iPhone version you might realize that the desktop version could use a bit of the same love.
