Yesterday morning the alarm clock rang early to a clear blue sky and a warm sun. After a quick breakfast we said good bye to our hosts at the bed and breakfast, got in the car and drove to the airport.
Hours later we got off the bus in Uppsala in the middle of a terrible rain storm. The holiday we have been waiting for and training for all autumn and winter is over. Now we are back in chilly Uppsala. Back to the normal work-eat-sleep routine.
Ten days in Spain and climbing eight of those. My body feels quite sore, but it’s a nice kind of pain.
Ten days of no internet, no computer and no TV. The days filled with brilliant climbing, amazing weather, great company and lots of good food. Can it get better than that?
